Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 lbs - Ground Beef 
  • 1 Cup - Zydeco Chop Chop 
  • 2 Tbsp - Cajun Seasoning 
  • 1/2 - Sleeve Ritz Crackers
  • 1 -Egg
  • 1 Tbsp - Garlic Powder 
  • 1 Tbsp- Onion Powder 
  • 1 - Yellow Onion 
  • 1- Bell Pepper 
  • 1/4- Jar of Roux 
  • 1 Cup - Water 
  • 1 Cup- Beef Stock 
  • 2 Cups- Parish Rice 

Instructions:

Mix your ground beef, Zydeco Chop Chop, Cajun Nation seasoning, Ritz crackers, egg, garlic powder and onion powder in a bowl. Once everything is mixed evenly, make your meatballs by rolling them in your hand. Over a medium fire, start browning your meatballs. Once brown, remove meatballs add onion and bell pepper and cook them down. In a separate pot, add cup of water and roux stir until ready. Add roux, beef stock and meatballs back in with the veggies. Cook on low-medium heat for an hour. Serve over Parish Rice!
