Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 lbs - Ground Beef
- 1 Cup - Zydeco Chop Chop
- 2 Tbsp - Cajun Seasoning
- 1/2 - Sleeve Ritz Crackers
- 1 -Egg
- 1 Tbsp - Garlic Powder
- 1 Tbsp- Onion Powder
- 1 - Yellow Onion
- 1- Bell Pepper
- 1/4- Jar of Roux
- 1 Cup - Water
- 1 Cup- Beef Stock
- 2 Cups- Parish Rice
Instructions:
Mix your ground beef, Zydeco Chop Chop, Cajun Nation seasoning, Ritz crackers, egg, garlic powder and onion powder in a bowl. Once everything is mixed evenly, make your meatballs by rolling them in your hand. Over a medium fire, start browning your meatballs. Once brown, remove meatballs add onion and bell pepper and cook them down. In a separate pot, add cup of water and roux stir until ready. Add roux, beef stock and meatballs back in with the veggies. Cook on low-medium heat for an hour. Serve over Parish Rice!
