Our founder, Michael Frugé, worked with the LSU AgCenter to plant and harvest a variety of rice called Frontier – a high protein rice with the lowest glycemic index value of any white rice on the market.

Standard white rice usually has a glycemic index value of 70. After being tested by INQUIS Clinical Research (inquis.com), we were determined to have the lowest glycemic index value of any white rice on the market in the U.S. (41)
